Restructuring...

Woah, one week never do any entry! Hahaha.. Busy life.. Anyway, I guess the highlight of the week was the CG we had on Tuesday, having Jon Tay with us for the very first time in this year! (I think, unless I missed out any CG with him during the beginning of the year =P)

We played Jonathan's game (I don't know what it's called, pass cards around and act the same, argh.. Can't explain properly >_<) and the infamous 'Finding Shem' game, as the opening of the CG. Then I led worship (my 2nd time, whoah, still need a lot of improvement >_<) and Jon Tay announced the whole Northeast restructuring to us. Basically the JC groups will come under one sub-district called the JC Ministry, detached from the previous districts that they were in, under the leadership of Raphael, my ex-shepherd when I was in Central!! So proud of him! Hahaha.. I actually felt excited when I hear about it, like the new vision we are aiming to be, fresh environment and many more reasons why the church have launched this restructuring as a whole, feel like going back to JC (without going through that A Levels again!!! =P). There was another update on the finalised restructuring yesterday during the Northeast Buffet. For our JC group, we will combine the girls & the guys from the same school, so in a way, the history of the Northeast JC guys group has officially ended with this restructuring (T_T). It was quite an emo moment for us, although we will still see each other around, just maybe not together as a group anymore. Mixture of sadness and excitement. Anyway, these changes don't really affect me since I'm going over to the YS anyway, haha.. But truly and sincerely, I will miss the guys there (by the way, I'm not a gay!!!) in a sense that I have gone through many things together with them for the past year, having the true meaning of the fellowship of the guys, and many more things. The last official service and CG will be next week, well, gotta prepare some farewell cards for them. Oh yeah, on Friday I got my salary (FINALLY!!), but after yesterday, everything was reduced A LOT to clear some of my debts and pay for the coming June Camp. Now it is left like 15% of the original salary, hahaha.. But I know He is with me, I will survive! (^-^)

Oh yeah, I received a birthday gift from my Y-Communications leaders, Huili and Puaylin, yesterday after the Northeast buffet! Really thank God for them for remembering my birthday, haha.. It was a shirt with a very unique pattern, made in Thailand.
I guess I'll wear it on the first day I transfer to YS, haha.. Thanks lots! ^^ Honestly I almost forgot my own birthday until Aline reminded me the day before it, and until my mom actually called me early in the morning to wish me a happy birthday. Very touching indeed. Really thank God that I am blessed with a family that really supports me all the way.
My verse of the week
(since it's not a daily entry anymore, haha.. =P):
'But Ittai replied to the king, "As surely as the Lord lives,
and as my lord the king lives, wherever my lord the king may be,
whether it means life or death, there will your servant be."'
[ 2Samuel 15:21 ]
