My financial truth..

During the service yesterday, I really felt a conviction about "God will never shortchange those who put His Kingdom first." It is really true to my case, because so far, as most of you know, hahah.. I'm jobless.. >_< It's not exactly jobless, just a part time job, but not really regular, so my income can barely meet my basic needs (food, EZ Link, rent, phone, etc). However, through all these 'bare survival', I learned a lot about my primary, secondary & tertiary necessities (wah, sounds so econs, hahahah..). I can actually apply Kingdom mentality in my current stage of life, and true enough, God has never shortchanged me at all!! It's true that sometimes I need some help from my friends (borrow some money, you know it =P), but the truth is, it is God Himself that puts all these good friends of mine into my life! I can't thank You enough for Your faithfulness!

But it was that day itself that I realized I'm really broke, hahah.. Can't even pay $4.80 stuff from NTUC using NETS, I can't believe it!! So yeah, it left with only $1.38 in my bank account T_T Lucky Gerard paid me a sum of money for the drawing that I did for him, so I got some back up at least (thank you man, your pay is very on time! Hahah..). Then I came to realize, how am I actually going to survive for the next months? Hmmm.. Never mind, just trust in Him, I'm very sure He'll guide me through, as long as I obey Him and put His Kingdom above all!

Then today I went jamming with Kaiwen, Shawn, Shane (did I spell correctly? =P) & Weilun. I didn't actually do anything significant, just became a water boy, hahahah.. Attempted to play the bass for Stars but it was useless because the bass guitar's frets are so far apart compared to normal guitar & I'm not used to it, oh well, hahah.. Anyway, they were AWESOME!! Shane commented that they really got a 'chemistry' among them, and I think so too. The way they play their songs improved a lot from last time, I'm really looking forward to their performance next time, yeah!! GO Steadfall!

My verse of the day:
"The Israelites said to Gideon, 'Rule over us - you, your son, and your grandson - because you have saved us out of the hand of Midian.' But Gideon told them, 'I will not rule over you, nor will my son rule over you. The Lord will rule over you.'
[ Judges 8: 22-23 ]
