How to get things done:
1. Find something that you cannot make it through the day without.
eg email, reading blogs, etc
2. Set a timer for 30 minutes, and work for 30 minutes straight.
Don’t stop until the timer goes off!
3. When you’re done, you get to do the activity in No. 1 above.
It’s your reward. Do it for 10 minutes only, and then go back to your timer.

. desired OUTCOME of the meeting
. take note of FOLLOW-UP actions
. review the FOLLOW-UP actions before they leave
. HARVEST the Follow-up actions to To-do lists, send to the relevant parties

LIFE GOALS
1. Think about the End in Mind
Think about what you’d like people to say about you at your funeral
What would you like to have accomplished?
What kind of person would you like to have been?
Start living your life so that you will eventually get to that point.
2. Jot down the ideas
professional, education, family, spiritual, travel, recreation, hobbies, community, charity
3. Refine / Expand
4. Break it down
What should you accomplish in the next 10 years for each of these goals?
How about 5 years? How about two years? One year? And this month?
Once you’ve planned out each goal for 10-year, 5-year, 2-year, 1-year and 1-month periods, you’ve got yourself a pretty solid plan.
5. Take action!
