Holy discontentment..

Was staying over Aloy's place on Sat before going to Sentosa trip this morning. A very stress-relieving pack of activities. Yushan's b'day and Ethan's last CG were a success. Many people got dunk as well. =D Saw quite a number of new faces (from the past month): Sherms and his friend (can't remember his name =/), Rayson, and Daixuan. Welcome to Minops family!

Anyway went back exhausted, esp after helping out with my friend's video editing stuff. Now don't feel like doing work already, just want to post something out (since I've been, in a way, MIA for some time).

Somehow yesterday when I stayed over Aloy's place and as we surfed through the net, we saw many cool websites and cool designs as well. This brought me to have this holy discontentment, I really believed that we have the capacity to produce with such standards, or even better! The Ablaze's website is really a great encouragement, they really showed us that even though they're only 1 year old, but they really do their best to make their website as appealing as possible. Then we saw these arts stalls within Vivo that sells interesting Christian stuff, some are even using illustrations. In a way these encouraged me, as well as ignited the holy discontentment again. Lol.

It was what I'd say the mix of the spirit of discontentment, dissatisfaction, pride, self-confidence, unhappiness, frustration, motivation, and of excellence.

Gosh, how I wonder when we'd be able to do all these things, when we'll be able to equip our people to serve God with their talents and giftings, to show the world that with God everything is possible, that our works are the result of His goodness, that our works will reflect His love for the people.

But more than all these, create in us a pure heart, bring us joy overflowing that comes from loving You. As we live with You and for You everyday of our lives.

My verses of the day:
"When anxiety was great within me,
Your consolation brought joy to my soul."
[ Psalm 94:19 ]

"Do not be overrighteous,
neither be overwise - why destroy yourself?"
[ Ecclesiastes 7:16 ]
