Christmas well-spent

Well I guess yesterday was a well-spent day with my fellow church bros and sis, really had a great time during the MinOps Pyjamas & Thanksgiving Party at li'l Gwen's place! First time seeing everyone in their official sleeping attires (ok, some of us don't really wear the actual pyjamas, but at least there's some effort put in =P).

One of the highlight was the
food, although dunno why Cong didn't feel very well after eating the food =/ Anyway, the turkey was humongous, haha.. Honestly I haven't eaten a turkey before in my life (as how it was prepared yesterday), but really thank God for Matthias, a very giving guy, he doesn't even 'allow' us to repay back for the turkey (it was $60 or so O.o).

Anyway, received quite a number of
greeting cards, and give out a lot also (but very small, spent most of the time trying to draw the chibi version of everyone @_@). Thanks a lot for the cards, chocolates, gifts etc! Really glad that I play a part in everyone's lives, in many aspects! And at the moment when Jiayi was sharing this small mothballs-like sweets by using both her hands, one for the people playing cards and another for the people walking pass at the side, somehow it occurs to me that my life is similar to that. My life doesn't belong to me alone. It belongs to God, to His people, to my CG, to my family, to my friends.
My right hand is to serve God, and my left hand is to serve people.

After that we had some photo shoots, quite fun, especially the all guys photos, "Daniel, we worship you!" LoL. =D It really looks like a family photo, haha.. Super funny.. Really treasure this time that I've spent with you guys!

Oh and the
Pata Pata Pon game is super cute! Serious! Can't stop laughing at it and lose my concentration while playing at Ian's PSP! LoL. XD

After everything is done, we were deciding whether we should go da Gwen's house or ECP. After much elaborate discussion by Ben and the rest, we decided to spend the night till morning at ECP. Wal was a joke seriously, when we reach the bus stop to wait for bus 55, we saw this Hokkien Mee shop still open, then he said, "Hey let's go get some Hokkien Mee! This shop is very good!" etc, and after a minute bragging about it, then he changed his mind, "Aiyah, this is fake la, got saw the similar stall at Bugis! Not nice one!" LoL. During our walk to the ECP also, we talk basically about anything, including the "With so much money, how many plates of Chicken rice can you get?" by Jem, hahaha..

Once we rendezvous-ed with the rest of the group at
ECP, we proceeded to this empty ground to play some games: Pepsi Cola and Dog&Bone, after which some of us are badly injured, esp Ben. Pray that he'll be fine soon.. (>_<') And before we left, we actually played some funny game, the game where the mother eagle supposed to protect the chicks, and we end up chasing each other's tail in a circle, hahaha.. Super hilarious! After that we went to Macs due to the impending rain which never came to -___- After breakfast, some of us went back to their respective places, leaving EC, Ben, Bennett, Lee, Jem, Xinyi, Gwen, and me. We were talking about some gross stuff, from the injured nail of Ben, to ingrown toenail, to Xinyi's traumatic experiences, to Final Destination, etc. And somehow we can't get away from the topic at all and Xinyi was truly disinterested in the conversation =/ Anyway, everything ended at 6am and Jem, Lee and me got a lift by Gwen to Eunos MRT, while EC stopped at Marine Parade.

Truly and honestly, it was much better than the Christmas day itself when I really didn't do anything much but writing cards and watching Final Fantasy XII's cutscenes and videos (total AWESOMENESS!!). But I really thank God for giving me this chance to mingle around with the rest of the MinOps much better!

Christmas rocks!

My verse of the day:
"
And let us consider how we may spur one another on
toward love and good deeds.
Let us not give up meeting together,
as some are in the habit of doing,
but let us encourage one another—
and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
[ Hebrews 10:24-25 ]
