Anyway there are lots of things happened since the last time I blogged (oh well, actually I don't feel like blogging now, can't think of anything else but homework.. >_<). Many many learning points here and there in different events.
"We love people over the possessions, we use possessions to serve people."
"Say what you mean, mean what you say."
"Is it shown in my life?"
Life is very short. Seriously. When I was doing research for my Western Art History presentation, I got this thought that the world is moving really2 fast. Those artworks produced in the past (from the Greek to Rome to Renaissance) are now considered 'treasures' by many. And it feels like it was just produced in this century or something. Sometimes I mistook 13th century (the 1400s) as 1914 or 1940. Ok la, my fault la. But you get what I mean? In a matter of years, all that we're doing now is gonna be history. And how much of our works will be considered 'treasures' by others who see our works.
And the wonderful thing is, how the Gospel still remains till this day and preached to all over the world. God's plan.
And one thing that I've learnt as I was doing my quiet time. As we grow up in God, the challenges we face will get tougher, much much tougher. It's even to the extent of giving up on God sometimes, as we'll get tempted by the other spirit to get away from God. Then when I came to think about it, besides the fact that in that situation we need God more, if the devil wants to get us away from God so much, doesn't that mean that we're so precious to our Father that the devil wants to screw up His plans for our lives? When I think about it this way, I gain even more strength and confidence in Him. I know that I am not smarter than the devil, but I hang on the One who is in me, who is greater than the one who is in the world, yeah. Devil, you loser! Hahaha.. In Jesus' Name!!
I'm Your child, O God!! Yay!!
My Verse of the Day:
"You, dear children,
are from God and have overcome them,
because the One who is in you is greater
than the one who is in the world."
[ 1 John 4:4 ]
