Parents' Day..

Today's sermon on the different types of heart conditions was kind of a reminder for me, not saying that I have a responsive heart, but I would say that there are still a lot of improvement work to be done from inside out. No one is perfect, but we still strive to reach God's standards. One thing that struck me was Pastor Shirley's principle, "Let not our comfort determine our destiny!" Very cool.

Afterwards there was a special Mother's Day service for the parents, around 40 of them, not bad. The sermon was actually almost the same as previous years', but still relevant and I was actually very touched by the sermons they had every year. For today, the highlight was the life testimony of a family in Thailand that was transformed from an almost-broken family to a happy family. Who else can do it but God? Yeah, He rocks! The story was totally touching and inspiring, I wont' spoil it here, haha.. It really showed how much someone's life can be transformed in the Lord and how it can influence the people around him. Family is truly important.
